“To have a second language is to have a second soul” – Charlemagne, Holy Roman emperor implying language shapes your idea of reality. Meanwhile, Shakespeare’s Juliet says “What’s in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet” implying the opposite. Language is primarily looked at as a tool for communication. However, this is not so true. Language, absolutely, changes everything in terms of perspectives and validation.
